You see, six years ago today, I received a devastating call that my father had passed away; a young man of 65 years gone in a blink.

One can still ask, 'Why?'. But instead, I choose to be his living legacy. You can focus on what was lost (for me, my day). Or you can be grateful for what you have and celebrate the moment.
Many of you have lost a loved one, and you understand the emptiness it leaves in your heart.
But I don't accept the loss as a void. I fill it up with what he taught me.

My dad had a way of making every day bigger and better.
His booming voice echoed everywhere even in a crowd. He was not a quiet man.
And no one was a stranger. He opened his heart to hear the stories of hurt, love, shame, brokenhearted.
Whenever I had an idea or a thought, he encourage me to go after it even if it meant moving a mountain.
Moved a mountain recently?
He truly believed that nothing was impossible. Therefore, why not now?

No one sits around wondering what people will think after they're gone. You have today!
Cease the moment. Your legacy is today; not yesterday, nor tomorrow.
